Speech Language Pathologist Telepractice – CA

Lighthouse Therapy is hiring a Speech Language Pathologist – CCC to serve students in a blended virtual CA school district. This position is for the 19-20 school year. This is a flexible part time position with potential for growth. Experience working with school districts and school age children required but telepractice experience, although a plus, is not required. Take advantage of the opportunity to work from home and develop your skills in the telepractice setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop therapy and treatment plans for speech and language disorders
  • Initial and 3 year re-assessments using standardized tests for accurate diagnosis of communication disorders
  • Establish treatment goals and frequency of services for IEPs
  • Document sessions using SOAP notes and complete school scheduled progress reports
  • Work with parents, case managers, and other IEP team members
  • Use our HIPAA and FERPA compliant platform to provide online services

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience providing speech language pathology services in an educational setting
  • ASHA CCC/SLP
  • Active California License as a Speech Language Pathologist
  • Familiarity with communication disorders\
  • Ability to build rapport with patients
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Positive and patient demeanor
  • Current negative TB test

School Psychologist Telepractice – CA

Lighthouse Therapy is hiring a School Psychologist to serve students in a blended virtual CA school district. This position is for the 19-20 school year. Responsibilities:

  • PreK-12 caseload
  • Annual IEP writing for goals and treatment
  • Progress reports per school district schedule
  • Assessments for initial and 3 year re-evaluations
  • Treatment of student’s educational needs for counseling

Qualifications:

  • CA School Psych with PPS Credential
  • NASP Certification a plus
  • Ability to build rapport with patients
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Positive and patient demeanor
  • Current negative TB test
